Selmeston
Selmeston House forms part of several identical blocks in the Upperton Rd area of Eastbourne. The blocks are all of a similar design, so it was therefore an essential part of the design brief to retain uniformity with the surrounding blocks whilst providing an aesthetically pleasing result for the occupants.
We were approached by Clarke Roofing of Eastbourne to provide our expertise on one of their local projects. After accepting our design proposal and quotation, we worked alongside Clarke Roofing to a defined timetable in order to integrate their damp proofing and roofing works to coincide with the removal of 28 existing balcony balustrades and installation of new by ourselves.
Mild steel box frames, galvanised and polyester powder-coated in a Brilliant White finish provide the structure for the balcony balustrade. The balcony is completed with clear glass panels on the upper floors and frosted glass panels on the first floor to offer an element of privacy.
Simple by design, these balcony balustrades offer clean lines and lift the overall appearance of the building.
