Iron Designs worked with my partner and I to bring to fruition our dream of a contemporary, exposed steel staircase. They produced a number of samples demonstrating different rod weights and finishes to make sure that we were going to be happy with the finished product. We, of course, chose the thinnest rod weight which, when at its longest point of over 7 meters, is extremely flexible and difficult to work with.
During the installation there were a few issues which meant that installed sections of the staircase had to be taken out and back to the workshop. However the Iron Designs team did not give up and worked tirelessly to make sure that we were 100% happy with the finished product – and we are! The stiaircase is a work of art, the first thing that people notice when they visit our house and we receive compliments daily on its design and quality of finish.
